PRESENTATION
THE PROJECT
Our ideal European school
The "Our Ideal European School" project is an innovative cross-grade, primary, secondary and high-school approach designed to create a continuum between the ages of 6 and 18 in our three countries, France Italy Portugal, on the one hand, and to enable schools to meet the challenges of today's changing world, on the other.

This €250,000 ERASMUS+ partnership project for cooperation in school education 2023-1FR01-KA220-SCH-000167237 is a consortium project coordinated by the Lycée Brémontier in Bordeaux, France. Its aim is toimprove living, working, identity, equality, inclusion and environmental conditions in our respective schools, for pupils and adults alike, while building on each other's strengths on the scale of our 3 countries, but also on a European scale with the participation of Denmark and its expertise on the place of the pupil at the heart of the school. Create intra-European synergies by sharing our experiences, drawing on each other's best practices and applying them in our three countries.

The theme of the project has 3 main axes which respond to these priorities:

Workpackage : CONNECTING TO YOURSELF
Objectives
We wish to work on two levels on this objective of connecting to oneself:
1- Based on self-knowledge, students become "actors". They develop their own wellness project, with the aim of improving their well-being.
2- Using bodywork sessions to reconnect with the self, students develop awareness of how the body feels
of the body (e.g. support on the ground, weight, extension, expansion, flexion); of the body in space (e.g. verticality
body in space (e.g. verticality, horizontality, sense of direction); the breathing-body-mind link (e.g. the effect of exhalation on the mind).
These objectives contribute to the general objectives of the project through the following inputs:
- Introduce innovative, active teaching methods that put young people at the heart of the process.
- Cooperate with in-house teaching teams and share experiences of co-training.
- Become a high school that learns from everyone's experience.
- Create an internal dynamic conducive to listening, peer cooperation and mutual support.
- Encouraging the emergence of motivation and overcoming individual obstacles to career choices, by promoting talents and taking into account the changing orientations of young people.
- Sharing the practices of other European establishments, exchanging ideas between teaching teams and stimulating encounters between students from these different structures to give them the "desire" to embark on subsequent mobility projects.
- Evolving training practices.
- Communicating the innovative project to institutions, teams and families.
Expected results
- With the active ADVP approach (ACTIVATION OF PERSONAL VOCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT): facilitating students' ability to act, mobilizing their ability to seek out information and conduct surveys among their relations, comparing their choices and self-perceptions with the opinions of others, increasing their self-knowledge with the additions communicated, agreeing to report their achievements in terms of self-knowledge to their peers.
- With bodywork: better stress management, better self-control, improved self-confidence.
- Facilitate the use of an adapted digital tool by downloading it onto their phones or using it online, to meet their digital needs.
- Development of in-depth dialogue and reflective analysis of representations and situations.
- Development of written and oral expression.
- Acceptance ofinclusion and respectful listening to everyone's expressions.
- Taking into account cultural differences and openness to others to respect everyone's projects.
- Avoiding drop-outs and remobilization
- Facilitating requests for help or redirection.
- Acquiring asense of initiative and openness to choice.
- Integration of a sense of global learning.
- Developing a sense of responsibility and citizenship.

Workpackage : CONNECTING WITH OTHERS

Expected results
We expect students to master the following skills:
respectful two-way communication, prevention of prejudice, assertiveness, creative problem-solving, negotiation, mediation and reconciliation.
Group conversations:
We'd like to see an improvement in emotional management, a caring atmosphere, courtesy and respect for others.

Workpackage : CONNECTING TO YOUR ENVIRONMENT
Objectives
This module on the theme of "connecting to your environment" is divided into several phases.
First phase: an inventory of actions in favor of environmental sustainability in our 3 countries.
Second phase: reinvesting the best practices observed among our partners and implementing them in our schools.
Third phase: mobility in Portugal.
Mobility is organized around objectives linked to awareness:
-
- Promote the reuse of materials and stimulate creativity.
- Monetize technological resources creatively and responsibly.
- Encourage the practice of the 3Rs policy.
- Encourage composting.
- Recognize the importance of sustainable water management.
- Implement measures to improve energy efficiency.
- Learn about and promote natural, historical, architectural and cultural values.
- Raising awareness of the need to conserve and regenerate biodiversity.
- Promote outdoor activities as a source of health, well-being and appreciation of the environment.
- Promoting healthy, sustainable and tasty food.
- Promoting reflection and action within the framework of the SDGs.
- Promote active global citizenship and greater awareness of everyone's role in building a safer, healthier and more sustainable world.
- Learn about the circular economy.
- Present solutions to address social and environmental issues in your school.
Expected results
This module is built in several stages.
Observation: during each mobility trip, the students take stock of the environmental practices of the schools they visit. They will record these results (in writing/photos/interviews, etc.) on a Padlet, which can be used to visualize and compare the various initiatives undertaken.
Teaching/setting the scene: during the mobility program in Portugal, various discovery workshops will be offered that place the student in the role of actor.
Action/participation: students will choose the best practices to be implemented by school level: primary, middle and high school.
Creation of the escape game (intellectual production on this theme that will enable its distribution).
