Activity description

After a collective picnic, we placed the students in mixed groups (high school/college/primary) to get them thinking about the "ideal school".

We gave them a large paper mural on which they had to stick post-it notes, one side for "what I don't like about school today" and one side for "my ideal school in the future".

Based on exchanges between the different levels, they filled in this fresco and reflected on what they would like the school of tomorrow to be like. The high-school and middle-school students were also able to share what they had seen on their various trips to Portugal and Italy.

The objectives

Create a cross-grade rendering of "my ideal school".
Brainstorm in teams.

Back to business

The students were able to share their vision of the ideal school on different levels, and thus share with others what they experience on a daily basis, depending on whether they are high school, middle school or primary school students.

The various frescoes were kept at the school, to be used as the basis for the "My Ideal School" Story Telling.

We had some very cheerful exchanges between the students and a lot of laughter thanks to the sometimes very amusing proposals.
