Activity description
Self-discovery" workshops
The L'Éecla association works with young people to help them gain a better understanding of themselves through the development of psychosocial skills:
self-confidence,
managing emotions,
physical and oral fluency,
group cohesion
and acceptance of others' gaze.
Developing these skills:
promotes academic success,
contributes to professional integration by developing "soft skills" (human, emotional, relational and behavioral qualities),
and thus promotes personal well-being.
Example of exercises during workshops:
Breathing exercises: sophrology exercises
Oral expression: introduce yourself to the group clearly and distinctly: "My name is ..., I like ..., I feel ...".
Use different emotions to express yourself: in your voice (modulation, volume variation, etc.), in your body, in your facial expression.
Movement in space: observe open spaces, use the whole space, pay attention to others
Relating to others and trust: the exercise of the blind man and the companion
Final visualization exercise + Sharing feelings
Back to business
It was a great experience, and the students were receptive to all the exercises on offer. The feedback was very positive. At the end of the session, each student relaxed and calmed down. Even in English, the instructions were well understood and applied. It was a very pleasant moment.
